SYNOPSIS

As a massive earthquake plunges New York City into chaos, a disabled couple trapped in their high-rise apartment must make an unthinkable decision to save their young child.

Emergency Plan is a new short film created for the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge by award-winning filmmaker Anna Pakman. The film stars Margo Gignac, James Ian, and Charlie Steinman, and features Tony Award-winner Ali Stroker.

We made this film to raise awareness of the unique challenges people with disabilities face in emergency situations. Furthermore, it is a call-to-action to address the systemic barriers that cause disabled people to be left behind when disaster strikes.
